how it works
Fostering in Swansea is more connected than you might think. We provide you with expertise, professional support and guidance whenever you need it. Our dedicated staff members are available on our out of hours support line in the evenings and on weekends, too.
All this means you’re never alone. We’re always here to help.
better together
Foster Wales Swansea is committed to supporting children in our care, their foster families, and the professionals who work with us every day. It’s what we do.
We’re able to offer this level of support because we’re a network of 22 Welsh Local Authority fostering teams. We share knowledge between us to ensure our foster carers get the best level of support and care, and can grow in confidence throughout their journey.
what makes us different
Our Swansea team is just one of the 22 Local Authority teams that make up Foster Wales. We work together, locally and nationally. We’re more connected and capable than any other fostering agency.
We exist to make a difference to local children. We provide all our foster carers with a dedicated full-time support service so we can build brighter futures together.
Our goal of helping local children means we’re devoted to Swansea. We want children in Swansea to stay in their local areas, so that they can stay connected to friends and family. So they maintain their sense of self and feel like they belong.
We always put people over profit, it’s who we are. As a not-for-profit organisation, all our funding is put into our services and our teams to ensure we’re doing everything we can for the children in our care.
